For bow rehairs and small repairs such as thumbgrip replacements, the turn-around time is typically one week. Same-day rehairs are also available on request depending on current work volume and can be dropped off between 10:30 am and noon and picked up between 3 and 5:30 pm. If you plan to ship your bow from out of town, please contact us first, then follow the instructions below:

  • Loosen the bow hair and wrap the bow in bubble wrap, securing the ends with tape. Place it in a rigid case or length of pvc pipe that is padded and taped over at both ends. Then put the case/pipe in a box with at least one inch of space all around it filled with packing materials so that it does not rattle when it is shaken.

  • If shipping multiple bows, they should be wrapped individually before being placed together into the rigid case or pvc pipe.

  • The package can be shipped with FedEx or UPS. USPS is NOT recommended. Adding insurance to the shipment is highly recommended as an effective way to ensure the awareness and caution of the driver and handlers.
